Jesus came to do the will of His Father (Jn. 5:30). Jesus was sent by the Father, just as Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us, to enable us to do the will of the Father.
Whoever Jesus sends, as the Father sent Jesus, has been given the purpose, power, and authority over every Realm that would attempt to deny the will of the Father from being accomplished.
The reason of our being chosen is solely because of His mercy and grace He extended to us.
He chose us before we could chose Him.
Jn. 15:16 “you have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you.”
Ezekiel 34:31 “You are my flock, the flock of my pasture; you are men, and I am your God,” says The Lord God.
1 Peter 2:25 “For you we’re like sheep going astray, but now have returned to the Shepherd of your souls”
Ezekiel 34:11 ” For thus says The Lord God: Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.
34:12“As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day of their greatest dispair, he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.”
(Notice how God takes ownership of your eternal soul, and life. His Son, Jesus, through the finished work of Calvary, paid the complete price for your Salvation. He is telling every principality and power, as well as you, that you belong to Him and if they come against you then He will consider them at war with Him. We were all born with sinful natures, and have sinned from time to time in greater and lesser degrees. There have been times either of our own makings or entrapment’s of Satan, when we sense no godly presence, and almost feeling overcome in despair , as if God had abandoned us. Just as Israel felt despair under the cruelty of Egypt. We sometimes do not realize God’s presence was and is with us. Our emotions being totally discouraged with no apparent hope of freedom. All of a sudden we realize all we have to believe in, trust in, is the Psalm of David “23” The Lord is my Shepherd”
He allows to stay in that place, until He hears our cries to and for Him. We must realize He is always with us. He reveals Himself to us when He chooses not when our emotions demand.
It is when we embrace, willfully and wholly, what we recite and declare God’s Word, do the fruits of that would have lasting effect in our lives. It is then that our spirit, and the Holy Spirit come into agreement, and we can declare as fact and truth the Word of The Lord.
Is The Lord The Shepherd Of Your Soul?
