The Full Armor of God

Eph. 6:10-13

6:11. Put on the full armor of God, that you can take your stand against the Devil’s scheme

This suit provides a specially prepared mixture of oxygen and gases for the diver to breath at the various depths he encounters.  Notice the diver by himself can do little other than make himself available to someone he trusts to cloth him with suitable clothing and equip him with capable proven equipment that will accomplish the task while protecting from danger.  This special suit provides breathable air in a place where breathing is impossible.  It equalizes the pressures from without with the pressures from within keeping one safe from being crushed (discouraged) or exploded (pride).  The suits are used for underwater recovery-repair-salvage-exploration in places otherwise not accessible.  The air mixture, as well as air pressure, must be provided by someone extremely well skilled on what will be needed at all depths. (Holy Spirit) Ps:25:5.

The Lord knows the shipwrecks in our lives, and once we cloth ourselves with His Word, walk in obedience to that word while continuing in our fellowship with His Spirit, we find ourselves living our lives in His power.

1Jn. 3:24 “those who obey His commands live in Him, and He in them. And this is how we know He lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

Eph. 6:10-13. “Put on the full armor of God, that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”

2Cor. 10:3 “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.”

1 Jn. 4:4 “You dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

1 Peter 2:11 “Dear friends, I urge you as aliens and strangers in the world, to obstain from evil desires, which war against your soul.”

Acts 17:28 “in Him we live and move and have our being. As some of our poets have said “We are His off-spring.”

Romans 6:4 ” we are therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we to may live a new life.”
