Bible Study 9/8/2021
You, Lord, showed favor to your land;
you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
2 You forgave the iniquity of your people
and covered all their sins.[b]
3 You set aside all your wrath
and turned from your fierce anger.
4 Restore us again, God our Savior,
and put away your displeasure toward us.
5 Will you be angry with us forever?
Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
6 Will you not revive us again,
that your people may rejoice in you?
7 Show us your unfailing love, Lord,
and grant us your salvation.
8 I will listen to what God the Lord says;
he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants—
but let them not turn to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land.
10 Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.
11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness looks down from heaven.
12 The Lord will indeed give what is good,
and our land will yield its harvest.
13 Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.
Please are slowly and read aloud to yourself. Consider the words you are speaking and your ears are hearing. The Word never conflicts with itself. The first half is totally relevant and the second half shows reverence to God. Our nation comes into full repentance; there is only one truth about salvation. We are all one body.
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8 This is why it[a] says:
“When he ascended on high,
he took many captives
and gave gifts to his people.”[b]
God speaks to us and if it challenges us in any aspect of our lives it is like an exercising of our faith. He asking us to be fruitful and challenged to go on and not to get ahead of him as he leads. Alway be submissive to the Word of God.
Malachi 4:1-3“Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. 2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. 3 Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty.
There is the power of His healing presence in our lives as we graze in His goodness and feed on what He has given us. We will be like Calves that are in the stall. We will come to an understanding and develop patience and perfect peace within our hearts.
Story about Perfect Love
Reveal the Love of God by demonstration. There are many people who don’t know what to do in our world or government.. They are getting beat up in their own despair, defenselessness, and destitution. People of God, we need to rise up and stand in the gap and be the Love of God that people need to see.
