Anchor for my Soul

For such a time as this…43

Everything we do has to find its roots in the cross. Everything we hope, everything we pray, everything we do needs to be rooted in Him. He knows every bit and understands and feels who we are. In our most lonely and despairing moments, He is with us. It takes on the element of sacrifice that we need to duplicate it. We need to say our life is designed to be a sacrifice to those who are being saved. We treasure what He did and saved us from our past and gave us an eternity that wouldn’t happen if it wasn’t for the cross. We need to look beyond the emotions and look for the fruit. Give us beauty for ashes. That is what we see in Calvary. The beauty is in the healing of wounds, healing of hearts, healing of relationships. Mother Theresa’s whole purpose was to pour Jesus on people. Our soul guides our body into how we react to the world. The passion of our heart needs to focus on the presence of God in our heart.

An Anchor for Our Soul..hope and faith.

We have an absolute hope anchored and secured because it is finished in Jesus Christ.

  1. What does the anchor do? Secures our soul. Grounded in truth and sanctified by Christ.
  2. Jesus is the anchor of our soul.
  3. The anchor must be connected to the ship

Our faith is fused to Jesus, fused to the cross in the reality of the Spirit. There is nothing else other than Jesus Christ. Don’t have any part of our life that can take us off the cross. We don’t connect the Word of God and the Spirit of God, We need to insure that with continuing fellowship. The promise is fulfilled when we declare it, because He says it.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace whose whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

May we see a revival in all governments and the Christian Church. We don’t disconnect with the world but see it as God sees it not our own eyes. We need to see how God sees it.

Hebrews 6:18-19  God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the veil.
