Bible Study 2/3/2021
We come across opportunities in life where we need to pause and get the inner peace from the Holy Spirit. The inner richness of the soul comes when the Holy Spirit is rebuilding a newness in us. This is a land that we were reborn in; we are pilgrims on a spiritual journey. It is not just a destination but a journey. The Holy Spirit wants to teach and personally show us truths that we need. He knows the intricate parts that make us and what we need. We join Him with the renewing of our mind . We are on a destination to eternity. Our path makes a way for others to follow us. We are not going to know the people we influence, but God has access to their spirit even if they are not saved. The character of our walk is the character of our footprint. People need to see us walk out our salvation. Don’t be afraid of opportunities that will come. The Holy Spirit will guide us in all things. Destination is an eternal place.
2 Corinthians 1: 22-24 He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.23 I call God as my witness—and I stake my life on it—that it was in order to spare you that I did not return to Corinth. 24 Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm.
The Holy Spirit will give us courage, faith, the Word of God. When we are in a tough situation, He will show us what to do.
Psalm 42 Deep cries unto deep
Have a journal and write as we read, His presence will cause hunger. Inspiration to remember:
What if? from Ian Peters
The darkness we are experiencing is not the darkness of the tomb but the darkness of the womb?
The pain we are going through is not the crushing of death but the pangs of labor
The sound we are hearing is not the rage of a generation but the cry of deep calling to deep
The fire that is burning is not to destroy but to refine.
The burden we are sensing is not the weight of hopelessness for the future but the weight of His glory obliterating the darkness with which we have become so familiar
The hunger and thirst we are experiencing is not about a famine but a deep desire to taste and see His righteousness and goodness
The emotions we are feeling are not apprehension for the future but anticipation for a brighter tomorrow
The gatherings are not to protest a social or cultural wrong but a desire for unity to come together as one body in Him
