Message from Ian Peters
The darkness we are experiencing is not the darkness of the tomb but the darkness of the womb?
The pain we are going through is not the crushing of death but the pangs of labor
The sound we are hearing is not the rage of a generation but the cry of deep calling to deep
The fire that is burning is not to destroy but to refine.
The burden we are sensing is not the weight of hopelessness for the future but the weight of His glory obliterating the darkness with which we have become so familiar
The hunger and thirst we are experiencing is not about a famine but a deep desire to taste and see His righteousness and goodness
The emotions we are feeling are not apprehension for the future but anticipation for a brighter tomorrow
The gatherings are not to protest a social or cultural wrong but a desire for unity to come together as one body in Him
The enemy wants us to focus on the negative, natural man wants to hold on to the things that are discouraging. The Spirit of God will give us discernment and help us take every thought captive.
What do we know about Gods promised? They will be kept. We get through because we can count on the character and sonship of Christ.
2 Corinthians 1:20 or no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God
We say that it is true. Nothing can nullify the promises of God. The only one who can remove us from entering in is us if we don’t want to walk in obedience. Our Spirit wants to in agreement with the Holy Spirit , but our flesh doesn’t. It is rewarding when we wrestle with our flesh and overcome.
1 Corinthians 1:18-31
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.19 For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”[c]
20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22 Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”[d]
Things are dark in the natural but it is getting bright in the supernatural. We will see Gods divine plan for our nation and the world. Commit to walk in the direction of God. People many times in the Bible are called to do and go to a place they don’t understand but they follow the Lord into their destiny. We are going to sing of His faithfulness and His glory.
Isaiah 26:3 I will give them perfect peace whose mind is stayed on me. because they trust in you.
John 14:14 Let not your heart be troubled…believe in God, believe in me.
2 Corinthians 10:4 The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but for the pulling down of strongholds.
Eph 4:13 We are called to live in the unity of faith.
We are a nation under God with liberty and justice of all.
There are three flags that will forever wave upon us, flag of our faith, flag over Israel, flag of our nation.
Genesis 50:20 What the enemy meant for evil, God meant for good.
Acts 2:4 Holy Spirit, You are welcome here. I am inviting God.
Romans 8:31 Who can be against you if God is for you.
Proverbs 30:5-6 , John 17:17 The body of Christ worldwide must stand on the Word of God. We never should justify our self unless it lines up with the Word.
Proverbs 30:5-6 His Word is true and I need to adjust any of my attitudes that are contrary to it.
John 1:9, John 16:13-16, Daniel 5:14, John 14:26 We will not be reprogrammed from the Word of God but we will be enlightened by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
We can live in victory but the day is going to come when we step into our reality. I will not accept that this world is all we have. This difficulty is temporary, we can do it with a joy and a hope. We need to see from Gods perspective. We want to bring as many with us into heaven. The enemy would like to veil our vision but the Lord will enlighten our spirits to the reality of His plan.
We need to encourage one another, but we really need to hear from the Lord. We need to pray before we go to bed each night that the Holy Spirit will quicken us and guide and refresh us. As we whisper and sing our love and His praise, we will fall asleep in His arms of peace, secure and free from the worries of the day and turn our thoughts to the hope of our future.
