Discussion from Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven by David Jeremiah

Anchors for our Souls…Truths to Consider:

Beware of sedimentary concerning spiritual truths found in God’s Word. We are called to be fresh (wicks trimmed -fresh oil ten virgins) every morning by the constant usage of that truth.

God’s Word will change the world around us according to our openness or rejection. It will most certainly change the world in us because as believers in Jesus because the Holy Spirit within us is renewing us.

Respond in a positive spirit and we will bear that fruit of that word.

Position ourselves so that we can hear God

We need to turn toward God as we hear Him speaking. We need to grow in our skills of listening. How can we understand what God is saying when we do not listen.

Trust God what you find in God’s Word. Move ahead in obedience and faith. You do not need to understand to live by faith.

Hearing is needed before we are able to listen with both desire and intent to rely on the Holy Spirit, not our natural understanding before we can act in faith centered obedience.

In Heaven, we will not have to claim God’s Promises, we will be living those promises.

Revelation is fresh understanding of God’s Word revealed by the Holy Spirit to our spirit and thereby enlightening our soul.

Do not doubt your faith, reject your doubt (Psalm 100:4)

Sight looks for it and it isn’t there, faith accepts it as truth-fact so that it can appear.

Faith moves vision into its creative form.

Revelation from God promotes movement. If we are caught up into God’s movement, we will nt take time to stop and build monuments.

Truth can be denied and not believed but it cannot be avoided or changed.

It is not the prayer that bothers Satan, It’s the power in that prayer that he fears.

The right position (Rightusness) will change our condition.

God’s Word is so powerful, it can bring deliverance before you see the manifestation of it.

Revelation and faith teaches us to live in the future that is in process.

What the Word of God is able to do in us will determine what the Word of God can do for us.

Religion wants life by dies by the letter. Revelation overcomes the letter and gives life.

The [Place] called Heaven

John 13:37 Why can’t we follow you now?

John 14:1-3 Where I am, there you may be also.

Jesus spoke these words in the upper room on the night before His death The Greek word used in John 14:3 is “Topos” which strictly refers to a place that can be located. Mark 16:19 Christ ascends to God’s right hand. He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God

Sometimes the bible refers to heaven as a country which implies vastness of territory.

Sometimes it referred to as the Celestial City which brings two mind buildings and streets and residents and activity.

Sometimes heaven is referred to as a kingdom which speaks of organizations and government. In John 14:1-2 Jesus speaks of “My Father’s House”

Psalm 23:6 And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Heaven is a place prepared for a prepared people.

God’s infallible purpose in Christ

Heaven has always been the intent of God for His people even before He created Adam and Eve. He has always had an eternal purpose and place for saints – Heaven included.

Hebrews 6: 13-19 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, 14 saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.”[a]15 And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised16 People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument.17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,

God confirmation of His promise by His oath and covenant removes ll doubt about its certainty. Therefore, we who have fled to Him, can take courage for we can hold onto His promise with confidence. This confidence is like a strong trustworthy Anchor For Our Souls. It leads us through the curtain of Heaven into God’s inner sanctuary.
