Discussion from Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven by David Jeremiah

The Prominence of Heaven

Psalm 23:6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

Luke 23:43Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.

Hebrews 11:10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations,whose architect and builder is God.

Revelations 2 1:2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

What we think about heaven now, while we are still on earth, determines in great measure how we live on earth today. When you study the Bible doctrine of heaven, it will stir our heart and change our thoughts. We must understand the important differences between what is doctrine and what is opinion. Doctrine may, in measure, be used to help us in guiding our spiritual lives, whereas opinions are just a personal view we embrace because it agrees with our own thoughts.

In order to embrace either doctrine or opinion as a standard by which we live, we must find its roots in the truth of the Word of God.

The truth of heaven not only instills anticipation regarding our future, it also comforts us on behalf of those have gone before us.

Heaven is already filled with glorious residents, and when we arrive there be a wonderful celebration. Song: “When ee all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus we’ll sing and shut the Victory!!! This song was written by Elizae Hewitt 1851 who was forced to live confined to a bed due to a serious spinal condition. The songs we sing are the confessions we make that will be determined by who or what we fellowship with= Jesus or Pain!

Phillipians 1:23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;

Ecclesiastes 3:11 God has put eternity in our hearts.

Even agnostics will admit that There is a reality of eternity for every man or woman. We don’t want to create just a heaven in our mind. Our faith needs to be based on truth. We will get a taste of a heavenly presence in our lives.

1 Cor 2:9 What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him
T

The Plurality of Heaven

The First Heaven: atmosphere where we live, oxygen, extends 300 miles into the universe

Isaiah 55:10,11 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
and do not return to it without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

The Second Heaven: Lights, moon and stars

Genesis 1:14-17An d God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth,

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Matt 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those days ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky,
    and the heavenly bodies will be shaken

The Third Heaven: Where Christ is, paradise, our eternal home
We will live forever with God and the Angels

2 Cor 12:2-4 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught upto the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.

We do not know. We must stay teachable. We have to be willing to say “I don’t know” Even those who are credible, don’t know completely God will reveal His mysteries at time of need. The situations in our lives helps us to come into understanding. 1

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Deuteronomy 10:1414 To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.

Matt 6:9 “This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,

The Place of Heaven

Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

Psalm 11:4The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.

Psalm 103:19The Lord has established his throne in heaven,
    and his kingdom rules over all.
P

Isaiah 43:7 everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory,
    whom I formed and made.”

Chaos with a Purpose

Chaos. Complete disorder and confusion. Behavior is so unpredictable it seems random. Dissolves our ability to rationalize.

Isaiah 26:3.You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You
.

Nothing can keep us from fellowshipping with the Lord. Some situations capture our hearts until we can’t even pray. Then we are truly prisoners. The Word of God and the Holy Spirit brings us understanding. Paul, Joseph and others were in situations that caused great distress. They were commissioned by God. One of the great lessons we learned was how they conducted themselves. When we are in situation, we don’t want to act contrary to our beliefs.

Acts 27:13-25 In the Tempest

1When the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their desire, putting out to sea, they sailed close by Crete. 14 But not long after, a tempestuous head wind arose, called [b]Euroclydon. 15 So when the ship was caught, and could not head into the wind, we let her [c]drive. 16 And running under the shelter of an island called [d]Clauda, we secured the skiff with difficulty. 17 When they had taken it on board, they used cables to undergird the ship; and fearing lest they should run aground on the [e]Syrtis Sands, they struck sail and so were driven. 18 And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship. 19 On the third day we threw the ship’s tackle overboard with our own hands. 20 Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.

21 But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss. 22 And now I urge you to take [f]heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. 23 For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, 24 saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ 25 Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me. 26 However, we must run aground on a certain island.”

Chaos can sometimes have a positive purpose. Paul was still on his journey no matter what he went through. The positive thing is to experience the faithfulness of God and give Him glory. We are conducting ourselves according to the Name we bear. God has our destiny. Paul’s heart was being obedient throughout all his trials. What we have is not who we are. Praise Him in the good times and praise Him even more in the hard times. Our earthly bodies are dying but our hearts and spirit is flourishing in the courts of the Lord.
Be still and know that I am God
His mercies are new every morning.

We have to declare what our faith tells us. We reinforce those around us. We need to go beyond our own scope and pray for all that is involved. We believe in the dissolving of roots by what Jesus paid for at Calvary. We need to be tuned into the Spirit. Wholeness, freedom, fulfillment. Pray a hedge around our loved ones.

Covenants

We need to take responsibility for setting the table before us. God sets one and the enemy sets one. We need to discern spiritually. Wise as a servant, gentle as a dove. We don’t need to walk in fear, but have such a unity with God

Jeremiah 29:11 I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:14 I will bring you back from captivity

Gods plans were in effect, His intent for mankind was planned before mankind was formed. Troubles are God’s way of maturing us. A covenant is a Godly contract or agreement. He is healing the past and restoring us to wholeness and completeness. We are on a journey, step by step, embracing our trials in life as we surrender them to God, then we have hope and expectation. The covenant was made for all mankind. We need to identify with one another and protect each other. We need not to accept division. Our failings make us realize we need Jesus. If we see as Jesus sees, the veil is lifted. The Lord sees us healed and restored. It’s not comfortable to practice and embrace what people around us are, but we have to embrace the truth. Tears wash and refresh. It is sometimes easier to do something than to actually put it into practice. The goal is to bring Him glory. The covenant journey we walk with God is the one we walk in victory, hope, and a happy ending. Lord, may we appreciate the truth of our surrendering, may we find joy in our journey.

Nehemiah 8:10 Joy of the Lord is our strength.

Discussion from 2020 Mandates for Ministers by Paul Tucker

The spirit of fear wants to attach itself to every part of our life and we need to operate in wisdom and godly counsel. Under the right precautions, it is necessary to connect with one another to take authority over fear. There is a difference in daily business and kingdom business. It is important to encourage one another. We need to set our own table before us. We belong to the kingdom of God.

10. Prepare your congregation spiritually by proclaiming truth; create an atmosphere to receive a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Prayer is key in reaping the harvest in your community and beyond Joel 28-32, Acts 2:16-18

Whoever we meet is our congregation. Be authentically who we are in our faith. Truth, integrity and grace need to be expressed. People will believe it when you practice it. They are influenced by the joy we have. People are looking for hope. There is a temptation to want to make people feel good, but we need to be forthright and true. Create an atmosphere with those we have influence with. We have such an opportunity to demonstrate joy. Joy comes from the heart, Happiness is from the head. Bombard them with the truth. Introduce the seed of hope.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless, it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

We tend to measure the willingness and usefulness based on our skills, it is Christ within us that has the ability to dispense what is needed. The Lord says I will prosper you

1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!

We believe we are a child of God, but we sometimes see ourselves as an adult doing business. Abba father is not just a statement of respect, but of affection. He has a heart for us as children. He will remove hopelessness, and give us hopefulness. Each situation that comes up requires us to trust. When our mind and reasoning says, “I don’t know what to do, I need you.” God steps in and catches us.

John 14:12 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, also he will do. And he will do greater than tase, because I am going to the Father.

It is hard to believe the works He does, we can do. The person of the Holy Spirit is the dispenser of power for us to speak to the problem. The scope of Christ’s ministry was limited… we will do greater in measure and expanse, not in difficulty. Holy Spirit will go throughout all mankind to do the will of the father..

What are miracles? Miracles stem from a righteous source. Miracles are something that we don’t expect could happen. A true miracle is supernatural. The most difficult is overcoming our free will and accepting His free gift. Seeing a persons life change is a miracle. God may use us to bring a miracle into a persons life. The miracle authenticates what we are talking about. People will marvel and gives evidence that God is victorious over satan. Miracles are an object demonstration of His power and godliness. He transcends the natural to give us hope and reveal Himself.

2 Corinthians 3:3 Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

He establishes His identity in our hearts.

Colossians 3:16 Let the Word of Christ live within you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the psalms, and with festive praises, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts!

It is important and there is such value in memorizing the Word. Every day we are living we will find ourselves quoting the scripture. It’s in your Spirit communicating with your soul. If you have a hunger in you spirit the Word of God will quicken the word and if you embrace it it will help you r mind be renewed. He will empower you. He promises that every Word in your life will come to pass. He provides the ability to walk out our faith even in their flesh. The journey will go on forever because our flesh wars continuously. Even if things have been broken, it will try to get your focus. Speak the Word and plead the Blood God wants to make a pillar in every area of our life. Can’t do it by works. We will react with encouragement not fear.

Prayer must become the root structure of what is being grown. Every growth upward has to be established by root going downward. Some don’t understand they are weak because of the lack of prayer and the Holy Spirit. Much prayer, much power. Little prayer, little power. Our prayers need to be specific to the need of the day. We need to sift what we say. It is God’s way of renewing our mind. Prayer is communication and needs to be matured to be vital and fresh. It will grow in proportion to the ability to yield to it. If we contend with what we read, we need to examine it to see if we are understanding correctly. Get sound counsel. But yield to the Holy Spirit. If we fail to enlarge our communication with God, we will lose interest in prayer. Sometimes we pray in tongues and our spirit is crying for ourselves or to intercede for others. We are not trying to change our prayer, but to grow in them. Progressive growth. Our prayers as we continue to mature in them, become our christian walk. We want to walk faster, but God wants to become strong

Discussion from 2020 Mandates for Ministers by Paul Tucker

8. Be aware of the distressing signs of the times, don’t be soon shaken in mind or troubled by spirit or word. Rather, OCCUPY (Kingdom Business) until Jesus comes. Luke 19: 13 So he gave his servants 10 minas to see what they would do with it.

It’s an attitude of God. He made available to us what we need and an access to all He has and who He is. What He gave to us an expression of His love for us. What we are dong right now is Kingdom business even in the midst of all this change and still being able to minister to those around us. We have seen ministers of several denominations join to pray and give and help. Determine to do God’s business in the environment we are in. People are seeing and appreciate people doing God’s business.

9. Spirit -filled leaders need to have a skillset like the sons of Issachar to effectively lead their congregations. We need “understanding of the times” ad well a being able to give clear direction by knowing “what to do” in todays stressful culture. 1 Chronicles 12:32 And the children of Issachar had discernment of what to do.

Some are teaching along the way. People respond to the act of love. The Spirit of God will draw them to us and God gives us wisdom and discernment to minister. We need to know the sign of the times not just the times. It is a sign of the spiritual warfare. God will guide your spirit and the spirit will guide your soul and you will know how to conduct yourself with the character of God. We need to get angry, but at the enemy not the people. Some are ignorant because of flesh. Freedom is being delivered from the threat of what could be. So many accept defeat before the battle is won. They give up before the threat even appears. Free from the fear within. We will help deliver freedom to others. Don’t neglect our own spiritual need by focussing on others need.

Witnessing: 1John 1:2 Character witness, 2 Peter 1:16 eye witness, we have seen and share our testimony, Material witness.

2 Corinthians 3:2-3 You are our epistle writer in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is. of the heart.

Most have had a difficult past and people have known about them. Some things can’t be erased so the enemy keeps reminding us. They witness our downs and our ups but also the working of God in our lives. They are see by many people. They are seeing our behavior. We reflect our attitudes, conversations and our love. But they also see you rising up in hope and expectation. This is what it is but not who we are. The letter we are writing as we walk through this journey of life. People are impressed that we don’t walk in fear.

The word of God will give us a fresh insight about ourselves. We will recognize it from the Spirit of God. God is bringing us down a path of understanding, not just information. Sometimes praise, sometimes word or direction, sometimes correction. We open our spirit to His truth. We will hear with an unprejudiced ear. We will submit ourselves and every attitude to the Lords scrutiny. Lord, may we say yes to you before we even know what you are saying. We want to do your will God. We want your heart God. He is bringing us to the place He wants us to be. Proverbs 4:1 We don’t even know what we are holding on to until He asks us to let it go. We all need the humbling experience about asking and receiving forgiveness. We think we throw away our life in our sin and weakness, but God just writes another chapter. He never gives up. There is a sweetness that comes out of us as a crushed rose petal. People see and wonder how and why and are encouraged by the faithfulness of God. We get to know about our heart relationship with God as we walk with Him.

Joshua 13:1 When Joshua was old, advanced in years. And the Lord said to him, “You are old, advanced in years, and there remains very much land yet to be possessed. There remains much spiritual land to be possessed.

Even though we are seasoned senior citizens. We still have much to do. We need to be listening. The spiritual land of being not judgmental but have prudence and clarity. People must be released. It’s part of being a good teacher and guide to readjust peoples attitude, it takes patience and love. Some of the freedom you are guiding people into are the same ones you need. This Spirit of the spirit you present something is as important as the truth. We must seize the opportunity now. Offering help to the helpless. The seeds we plant, God will water.

Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven ideas based on book by Dr. David Jeremiah and the Word of God.

The bible the only authoritative source of information on that which lies behind the grave. The subject of heaven must be very important to God for us to understand because heaven is listed over 600 times from the book of Genesis to Revelation. Each of these uplifting texts affords us “insider information about God’s glorious habitation and eternal home for His children.” Heaven is the most encouraging subject in the Bible, and happiest location in the universe.

In order to be an effectual and fruitful student and teacher of the Word of God, we must first be teachable and correctable believers. This is a continual truth that protects us from self-pride and ensures humility of spirit. The heroes of scripture thought of heaven constantly looking forward to the city whose builder and maker is God.

Some people really don’t know that there is something after death. People are looking for answers, not theories. We need to base it on the Word of God. Credible people need also to base their thoughts on the Word of God. The enemy would like to distort our view of heaven and we need to know the truth, practice the truth and embrace the truth. Our spirit with the help of the Holy Spirit helps truth and the Word be part of our life.

Heb 11:11-16 11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she[d] bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off [e]were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

Heaven is not something created for us, it always was. It is where God is. Many cultures and cults have an idea of a better place for them but does not know the truth. The truth not only provides anticipation regarding our own future, it also comforts us on behalf of those who have gone before us, Heaven already is a heavenly populated place, filled with glorious residents, and when we get there, there will be a grand celebration. Heaven is a reality. It gives us a hope in the midst of a hopeless environment. Isn’t it a miracle, that we can experience Jesus right now. We are experiencing the realms of God that gives us a taste of the love of God.

John 4:28 -30 T2The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, 29 “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30 Then they went out of the city and came to Him.

2 Peter 3:7-14 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and [b]perdition of ungodly men.But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward [c]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [d]burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;

We are embracing spirit, personal rhema about heaven. God, by His Spirit uses the fire and the pressure of the hammer of the enemy to form us but we are not marred because the beauty that God has designed for us. We need to trust the process. God is able to show us the beauty of the process of transformation. We have people in our hearts, never give up, plant a seed. We are result of God’s every present hand in out life.

How often do we become students to the ones we are trying to teach?

You can’t be a teacher if you can’t be teachable. You can’t be a leader unless you can’t be led. One of the things of beauty that emerges from our life is a surrendered heart. The enemy will do anything he can to distract us from our purpose or hope. The Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth.

Psalm 18:16-46

He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
    he drew me out of deep waters.
17 He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
    from my foes, who were too strong for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
    but the Lord was my support.
19 He brought me out into a spacious place;
    he rescued me because he delighted in me.

20 The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness;
    according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord;
    I am not guilty of turning from my God.
22 All his laws are before me;
    I have not turned away from his decrees.
23 I have been blameless before him
    and have kept myself from sin.
24 The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,
    according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

2To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
    to the blameless you show yourself blameless,
26 to the pure you show yourself pure,
    but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.
27 You save the humble
    but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.
28 You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
    my God turns my darkness into light.

29 With your help I can advance against a troop[a];
    with my God I can scale a wall.

30 As for God, his way is perfect:
    The Lord’s word is flawless;
    he shields all who take refuge in him.
31 For who is God besides the Lord?
    And who is the Rock except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength
    and keeps my way secure.
33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
    he causes me to stand on the heights.
34 He trains my hands for battle;
    my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

You make your saving help my shield,
    and your right hand sustains me;
    your help has made me great.
36 You provide a broad path for my feet,
    so that my ankles do not give way.

37 I pursued my enemies and overtook them;
    I did not turn back till they were destroyed.
38 I crushed them so that they could not rise;
    they fell beneath my feet.
39 You armed me with strength for battle;
    you humbled my adversaries before me.
40 You made my enemies turn their backs in flight,

They cried for help, but there was no one to save them—
    to the Lord, but he did not answer.
42 I beat them as fine as windblown dust;
    I trampled them[b] like mud in the streets.
43 You have delivered me from the attacks of the people;
    you have made me the head of nations.
People I did not know now serve me,
44     foreigners cower before me;
    as soon as they hear of me, they obey me.
45 They all lose heart;
    they come trembling from their strongholds.

46 The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock!
    Exalted be God my Savior!and I destroyed my foes.

We as prayer warriors are lifting our families and we fight with His might. We recognize our weakness, but recognize with confidence His strength. We are not in doubt because we are not relying on our ability, but His. We recognize that we don’t always know were we are going, but we discover Him all the more with anticipation and adventure.

Romans 8:22-232We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.

We are created with the search in our soul. Faith is the substance of hope that fills our spirit. The Lord stirs us and we need to respond. Let our soul respond.

Ecc 3: 11-14 –He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.

Every culture is searching, but we want to rely on our own ability. Surrender keeps us reliant on God. being faithful and giving Him the glory.

26 Give careful thought to the[a] paths for your feet
    and be steadfast in all your ways.
27 Do not turn to the right or the left;
    keep your foot from evil.

1 Corinthians 15

The Resurrection of Christ

15 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas,[b] and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11 Whether, then, it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.

It is not enough that He died on the cross, He had to be raised from the dead, and talked among us. Without this there is no salvation, no hope. We need that nourishment in our spirit by trusting and believing Him. We continue on our journey because our journey is eternity.

The Resurrection of the Dead

12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. 19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.

20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For he “has put everything under his feet.”[c] Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

29 Now if there is no resurrection, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them? 30 And as for us, why do we endanger ourselves every hour? 31 I face death every day—yes, just as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord. 32 If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus with no more than human hopes, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised,

“Let us eat and drink,
    for tomorrow we die.”
[d]

33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”[e]34 Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.

The Resurrection Body

35 But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” 36 How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body. 39 Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another.40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. 41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”[f]; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. 48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. 49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we[g] bear the image of the heavenly man.

50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and bloodcannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”[h]

55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
    Where, O death, is your sting?”
[i]

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Rev 3:7

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.

Rev 7:3-13

“Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,from the tribe of Gad 12,000, from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000, from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,from the tribe of Simeon 12,000, from the tribe of Levi 12,000, from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph 12,000, from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.

The Great Multitude in White Robes

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”

11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:

“Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”

13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”

Isaiah 41:9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth I have chosen you and not cast you away

We are saved upon the invitation of Father God. If He had not called us, we would have to strive for salvation through works. God says I have chosen you, He has equip us for it and will walk hand in hand. The enemy would like to set us up for an ambush and lead us to a place that is unproductive and even destructive. The obstacles are there because the Lord is with us and teaching us. We cannot be a child of God with out submission and repentance.

Ponder this: What does God look like? How can we see God when no man can see God. How can we know God if we don’t see Him. You experience all three, The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. Jesus doesn’t do anything unless the Father tells Him. Christ built a bridge between us and the heart of the Father through the Holy Spirit. Jesus is very empathetic for us. When something is out of control in our life, the Lord weeps. . The Father says, I want to introduce My heart back into mankind. God reveals part of His identity in His creation. We want to see the invisible God. The invisible God has made himself visible to our hearts. Have a moment of contemplation,

Ponder this: How is it possible to say yes Lord, before you ever hear him say anything?

EZ 33:6 We need to be watchmen. The watchmen needs to blow the trumpet to warn the people. We need to pray for the spiritual state, not just the environment we are in. We need to deliver people from their bondages not just they troubles. We need Rhema by prayer and intercession. It is in intercession that the power of the Holy Spirit comes to give us His passion for the people of the world. The Spirit of God brings us into oneness. We need to contend because they can’t. We don’t like to be around certain people, it’s hard. God instills an attitude, He quickens us to function in the call of our heart…moving out of the way we used to be into a person He wants us to be. It is a journey with God.

Discussion from 2020 Mandates for Ministers by Paul Tucker

Prophetic directives: Mark the first word: must, seek, observe, help, break

4. Break limitation of bearing fruit. John 15:1-8 Bear fruit, more fruit, much fruit The last is where He is glorified. The limitations are how close we are to Him. Its about our thought lives and attitudes.

5. Unlock impending mindsets, overcome with the mind of Christ 1 Cor 2:12-16 Looking at things the way God does. God doesn’t take that first step, we need to…look at our promises and commitments and take that first step. We have to just do it. Godly character comes by surrendering.

6. Preparing believers for their heavenly calling rather than the short-term career. Col 3:1-10 Pass the mantle of prayer and blessing not only to our children, but our spiritual children as well.

Let’s hear what the Spirit is saying to our hearts. Let it be personal. Let there be a spiritual impartation to interpret the day that we are living. How may I affect the day that we are living. The Lord understands the weakness of our flesh…He is looking for the commitment of our hearts. Our intentions are good, but still not in full view of what He wants for us. He will eventually get us in alignment. Our heart needs to be hungry. Being a Christian can’t be a hobby, it has to be a passion. He is walking out this journey with us. He is working in our life to make us like Him. When He reveals things to us it sometimes affects our pride. The Lord provides security, safety, and guidance through the storms. The safe harbor is trusting in God. When things seem to be overpowering us…it is a vehicle Jesus allows to come so we learn a lesson in our lives as a program of our transformation. We need to speak the word to the storm Our ears need to hear our tongues speak . Each storm threatens us but we have one anchor who is more than enough. We need the chain that holds the anchor to our life and that chain is the Word of God. He is the Word made manifest. We can take the fear out of the threat because He is resurrected.

Acts 17:28 We are also His offspring”

The enemy cannot take away the freedom He paid for at the cross and He enables us to prosper. The church is a threat to the enemy. God takes us where we are and takes us to maturity. One thing that is worse than immaturity is “I don’t care”. People want to protect their comfort zone and their prejudices. Let the Spirit of Truth be revealed to us. What did I receive today?

He sees our hearts and our tears. We will never be in a situation so dark that the Lord can’t cause a light. Yield too light. When we don’t keep our oil fresh and wicks trimmed we will have a flame, but it will not as bright as what it could have been. We need to confine our prayers to agree with the word of God and character and truth of who He is. We need to not make a conclusion or have attitudes based on our own flesh or circumstances. God isn’t finished yet. He has eternal perspective. We need to do all we can but within the parameters of the will of God. Never make a declaration against a person.

Jeremiah 1:5 I knew you before you were born, I set you apart

God has a destiny for us. He knows the mistakes. He has the seed of completion to enter into our destiny. We need to take that walk in obedience. The personal surrender is not my will, but your will. God needs to refine us. Our life is a pulpit for anyone around us to see. Any time we pass by a hurting soul, may the presence of God move us. Acknowledge what could have been. We rob ourselves from learning who He is and who we are if we ignore the unction and peace of the Lord.

John 16:13 “Spirit of Truth will come and guide us into all truth”

Jesus said, “You’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father.” The three dimensions of the reality of God is visible through Jesus. It is spiritual Rhema. Every time we experience a word from God it is all three in unity, revealing the Father. The essence of the Father’s heart will be evident in our life. People will see and believe that our walk matches our talk.
